Netflix's hit show Riverdale is based on the popular Archie Comics characters like Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones among others. However, while Archie comics are usually light-hearted in tone and has a strong readership among younger teens, Riverdale is much darker and targets a mature audience and is quite different from its comic counterpart including how it treats its characters. Riverdale Star KJ Apa and Girlfriend Clara Berry Welcome Their First Child Together.

Now Archie Comics seems to take a page out of Spider-Man: No Way Home and is having an interesting crossover in its one-shot comic crossover in May issue when the Riverdale gang is going to meet OG Archie and gang.
