Malayalam and Tamil actor Bala was arrested on October 14 following a complaint filed by his ex-wife, Amritha Suressh. Reportedly, the Kadavanthra Police in Kochi took action based on the allegations of defamation and harassment levelled against Bala. He has been charged under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. Additionally, Bala's manager, Rajesh, has also been arrested. The complaint filed accuses Bala of defaming Amritha and their daughter Avantika through his online posts.
