Madras HC Orders Silambarasan TR to Deposit Rs 1 Crore for Non-Completion of Film Corona Kumar

The production house, in its application had alleged that Silambarasan had agreed to star in the film in 2021 for a total fees of Rs 9.5 crore, out of which some sum was paid to the actor.

Madras High Court has ordered actor Silambarasan to deposit Rs 1 crore as security to ensure that he completes the film Corona Kumar. The court passed this order on a petition filed by the film's production company, Vels Film International Limited. The production company alleged that Simbu had signed a contract to act in the film and had been paid Rs 4.5 crore as an advance.
