The highly awaited trailer for Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD has been dropped on Monday (June 10). It is needless to say everyone was waiting to have a glimpse at what the director had to offer with his highly ambitious project. The three-minute trailer opens with the introduction of Kaashi, a distant land equipped with all essential amenities for survival. Outsiders find it challenging to reach the top, hoping to gain favour from the ruler there. The trailer then introduces Deepika Padukone's character, whose character, pregnant with a child destined to change the future, adds intrigue. Following this, Prabhas is shown as a formidable hunter with an unbeatable track record who further joins hands with Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan) as they embark on 'The Greatest Battle'. As the trailer concludes, it teases Kamal Haasan's character, adding to the anticipation.
