Jayasurya Sexual Assault Case: Kerala Police Book Malayalam Actor for Allegedly Assaulting Minu Muneer

Following the release of the Hema Committee Report on August 19, which revealed widespread sexual harassment in the Malayalam film industry, several actresses have come forward with their own allegations. Actress Minu Muneer has accused Malayalam actor Jayasurya of sexually abusing her on the set of De Ingottu Nokkiye. According to recent reports, Jayasurya has been booked by the Kerala Police under IPC Section 354, which pertains to assault or criminal force with intent to outrage modesty. An FIR has been registered at the Cantonment Police Station in Thiruvananthapuram based on Minu Muneer’s complaint.
