The winners of the 68th Filmfare Awards South were declared on July 11, honouring the performers in cinema in the languages of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. RRR, Kantara, Ponniyin Selvan and Nna Thaan Case Kodu won Best Film awards. SS Rajamouli and Mani Ratnam grabbed Best Director awards. Ram Charan and Jr NTR share Best Actor for RRR in the Telugu category; Kamal Haasan got the same for Vikram in Tamil and Rishab Shetty grabbed the same for Kantara in Kannada. Mrunal Thakur (Sita Ramam), Darshana Rajendran (Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey) and Sai Pallavi (Gargi) got Best Actress Awards. Filmfare Awards 2024: Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Wins Best Music Album, Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail Bags Best Screenplay at 69th Award Show.

Dulquer Salmaan (Sita Ramam), Dhanush (Thiruchitrambalam), R Madhavan (Rocketry), Sai Pallavi (Virata Paravam), Naveen Shankar (Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage), et al grabbed the acting honours (Critics) category. SS Rajamouli's RRR won multiple awards for Best Cinematography (shared with Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan - I), Best Production Design, Best Music and Best Choreography.
