Pradip Mukherjee breathed his last on Monday (August 29) morning. The veteran Bengali actor died at the age of 76. He was popularly known for his roles Satyajit Ray’s Jana Aranya, Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s Dooratwa, Rituparno Ghosh’s Utsab among others. He was suffering from ‘chronic lung problem with carbon residue’, reports OTTplay. The actor was reportedly hospitalised on August 22 and was put on ventilator after his health condition deteriorated.
