A video on X (prehas gone viral featuring Nigerian model-actress Kehinde Bankole handling a show anchor with impressive confidence when he subtly asked inappropriate questions.
Nigerian model and actress Kehinde Bankole is one of the most popular names in the industry. The 38-year-old actress won the Best Lead Actress Award at the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her movie Adire. Now, a clip-on X (previously Twitter) featuring the actress has created a controversy online where a show host indirectly asks lewd and inappropriate questions. The host asked her if there was a limit to her artistic possibilities. Bankole responded, "The word to be used is intelligence." The host then shamelessly asked, "How far can you go?" Visibly confused, the actress replied, "As far as intelligently required, not just as far as required. Sometimes, you don't need nudity, kissing, and all of that to tell a good story." It didn't stop there. The host finally asked, "Can you go nude intelligently?" to which she responded, "I don't like the question. You always take the topic out of context. I'll say I do what is artistically required. I don't want that word, 'nude'." She then recalled a scene from a Lupita Nyong'o film to explain her point. However, the host's reply left the actress stunned.
