The drama surrounding NewJeans and HYBE just hit a new high, with both sides firing off some explosive claims. On October 7, NewJeans’ parents dropped a bombshell, accusing HYBE and ADOR CEO Kim Ju Young of mistreating Hanni and covering it up. According to them, Hanni was disrespected by a manager from another HYBE group, who allegedly told the group to ignore her, leading to serious tension. The parents also criticised the new CEO for not addressing the issue and for failing to manage NewJeans' grievances properly. In response, Belift Lab fired back with a strong statement, denying all allegations. They claimed that no such incident occurred and that footage exists proving ILLIT’s members bowed respectfully to Hanni. Belift also accused the parents of dragging their employees into the public eye, causing undue stress. They firmly stated that they had sent two official responses to ADOR, and are prepared to take legal action if the allegations continue to harm their reputation. NewJeans’ Hanni To Address Workplace Bullying in the K-Pop Idol Industry at National Assembly Amid HYBE and ADOR Feud!.
