Lee Ji-Eun, popularly known by her stage name IU turns 29 on Monday. Born on May 16, 1993, IU is an accomplished South Korean singer and actress, a top Hallyu star in her own right. Popular for roles in hit Kdramas such as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Hotel del Luna, and My Mister, among many, many others, IU has established herself as one of the most bankable stars in the South Korean entertainment industry. The same applies to her immense contribution to the music industry. As she celebrates her special day, IU took to Instagram to share a bunch of fun selcas (selfies) and photos.
