BTS' ARMY initiated an online protest against the South Korean government, demanding an apology with the hashtag 'South Korea apologize to BTS', following reports that the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism had ordered an investigation into alleged chart-rigging practices, known as sajaegi, against HYBE—the agency representing K-pop group BTS. According to Koreaboo, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism confirmed receiving a petition to probe the accusation.
