K-pop star Suga of BTS has issued an apology via hia label Big Hit Music for riding an electric scooter in an intoxicated state on Tuesday.
K-pop supergroup BTS member Min Yoon-gi, aka Suga, is under police investigation for allegedly driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol. The news was shared by Yongsan Police Station, Seoul, on Wednesday (August 7). As per the police, an officer discovered a young man who had fallen off an electric scooter on Tuesday (August 6) evening near Hannam-dong in Yongsan district. Upon approaching him, the individual was discovered as BTS member Suga, who was later taken to a nearby police station. Now, the K-pop idol's agency, Big Hit Music, has released a statement regarding the incident. Apologising for Suga's "inappropriate behaviour", they wrote, "We apologize for the disappointment this artist's inappropriate behaviour caused many of you. As a social service worker, he will receive appropriate disciplinary action from his employer for his behaviour. We will be more careful to prevent this from happening in the future."
