Paramount recently tried developing a spin-off series to the hit franchise, but was stopped by the face of it. Tom Cruise reportedly stopped Paramount from developing a spin-off series to Mission: Impossible. This news comes right on the heels of Cruise lawyering up when he was notified that Mission: Impossible 7 would have a 45 day theatrical window.
