Jenna Fischer, known for her role in The Office, is using social media to raise awareness about breast cancer. In a heartfelt post, she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage I triple positive breast cancer last year following a routine mammogram. Fischer underwent a lumpectomy, radiation and chemotherapy to combat the aggressive form of the disease. Despite the challenges, she emerged from treatment cancer free. “I’m happy to say that I was recently re-screened, and the treatments worked. I am cancer free,” Fischer wrote. “I will continue to be treated and monitored to help me stay that way,” she further added.
