One of Prime Video's most successful original series, The Boys, will be having its "climax" with season 5. Eric Kripke, the showrunner of the popular superhero series on Tuesday (June 11), revealed that the fifth season, which was recently greenlighted by Prime Video, will be its last. Taking to his X (previously Twitter) handle, Kripke shared a picture of what appears to be a script of the upcoming season. He wrote, "#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun!" This announcement comes just two days before the much-awaited premiere of season 4 of The Boys on June 13.
