The Apprentice, a biographical drama that explores the life of former US President Donald Trump, hit the theatres in the US today (October 11). Sebastian Stan takes on the role of Trump in this film directed by Ali Abbasi. Jeremy Allen Strong also stars as Roy Cohn, while Maria Bakalova plays Ivana Trump. A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared an update regarding the extensive censorship of The Apprentice by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India. According to the update, several scenes featuring nudity were removed. Some parts of Ivana Trump's rape scene were also trimmed. While such severe cuts are not uncommon in the country, viewers feel that these actions undermine the artistic talents of filmmakers. ‘The Apprentice’ Movie Review: Sebastian Stan’s Compelling Performance As Young Donald Trump Wows Critics in Ali Abbasi’s Film.
