Stranger Things was close to starting production on Season 5 when the WGA strike began May 2. Terminator star Linda Hamilton joins the Season 5 cast, while director Dan Trachtenberg, known for Prey and 10 Cloverfield Lane, is slated to helm at least one episode alongside the regular directors - the Duffers and Shawn Levy.
