Steve Lawrence, a singer who dominated the stage both solo and alongside his wife, Eydie Gormé, has died. A mainstay of the music scene during the rock era, Lawrence kept the spirit of Tin Pan Alley alive. He passed away on Thursday (March 7) at the age of 88 from complications due to Alzheimer's disease, according to a family spokesperson. May his soul RIP.
