Sean Diddy Combs has once again attempted to secure bail while awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking charges. He filed a new motion on Friday (November 8), arguing that he should be released on a USD 50 million bond with strict surveillance conditions. In a court filing, defence lawyer Alexandra Shapiro asked judge Subramanian to release Combs on the USD 50 million bond, which would be backed by his USD 48 million Miami home and co-signed by several of his family members. However, the judge denied Combs' request for a gag order barring his accusers from speaking publicly about the matter. On September 17, Combs pleaded not guilty to charges of using his business empire, including Bad Boy Entertainment, to transport individuals across state lines for sexual performances called "Freak Offs."
