Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested and indicted in September 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for the purposes of prostitution. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. On October 10, the rapper made his first court appearance. Diddy attended the hearing at the Manhattan federal courthouse, dressed in jail clothes and shackled at the ankles. He was accompanied by his mother and children for the hearing. Judge Arun Subramanian has set the trial to begin on May 5, 2025, with prosecutors indicating that additional charges may be forthcoming.
