Moonfall director Roland Emmerich in a recent turn of events opened up about the Marvel and Star Wars films and attacked the genre. He claimed that the Marvel, DC and Star Wars movies are ruining the industry. He said, "Because naturally, Marvel and DC Comics and Star Wars have pretty much taken over. It’s ruining our industry a little bit, because nobody does anything original anymore." He also further added, "You should make bold new movies, you know?
