Oscars 2022: Youn Yuh-Jung Learns Sign Language To Announce CODA’s Troy Kotsur’s Name As the Winner

Troy Kotsur makes history as he becomes the first deaf person to win an Oscar. Kotsur won the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in CODA and took to the stage to give a very heartfelt and emotional speech.

Troy Kotsur bagged another award and this time it is an Oscar. He won the Best Supporting Actor award for CODA. While this was a special moment, what made it extra special was Minari actress Youn Yuh-Jung giving away the award. She learned how to say Troy's name in sign language to give away the award.
