It looks like Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (MI7) and Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny are barely set to be profitable for their respective studios as the films are on-course to lose about $100 million each. Having budgets of $300 million, both the film haven't been able to bring in much. This can be chalked up to the bloating of budgets due to COVID, and the summer film season being extremely packed as well.
