After the release of Bradley Cooper's film trailer Maestro, the actor received a lot of backlash regarding his transformation into Leonard Bernstein for Maestro. Cooper was criticized for not being Jewish and for using a prosthetic nose in the film. Now, the debate over Cooper's transformation has been put to rest by his children Jamie, Alexander, and Nina Bernstein. The family released a statement and praised Cooper for his commitment to the character. They said, "Bradley chose to use makeup to amplify his resemblance, and we’re perfectly fine with that. We’re also certain that our dad would have been fine with it as well.”
