James Gunn has confirmed that a new Superman movie is part of his and Peter Safran's DC slate, which is being written by Gunn himself right now. Focusing on a Clark Kent early in his career, the head of DC Studios also confirmed that Henry Cavill won't be returning to play the Man of Steel, but have had meetings with him to explore future opportunities.
