Will Smith and Jada had apparently been secretly separated for years as revealed by the actress in a recent update. In her latest interview with Today, Jada shared that she and Will have been separated for seven years since 2016. The reason they kept the news quiet was "Just not being ready not, still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in partnership", Jada told Hoda Kotb in an interview. She added why they split up saying "Why it fractured, that's a lot of things. I think by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying.
