At 66, DeGeneres is stepping back from the limelight, affirming that her upcoming Netflix special will be her final project before she retires from the entertainment industry. "Thank you for still caring!" DeGeneres told the audience, "Let me catch you up on what's been going on with me since you last saw me. I got chickens." She also joked about her departure from show business, saying, "Oh yeah, and I got kicked out of show business for being mean."
