Ángel Salazar, the Cuban-American comedian and actor renowned for his role as Chi-Chi in the 1983 crime drama Scarface, passed away on August 11, 2024. At 68 years old, he died in his sleep at a friend’s home in Brooklyn, as reported by his representative and close friend, Ann Wingsong, to TMZ. In addition to Scarface, Ángel was known for his work in Punchline, Carlito’s Way and Last Comic Standing. The cause of death has not been disclosed yet.
