As per the latest updates, a sequel for the film is on the cards soon. According to a recent report, Ghajini 2 is in the making. The new update revealed that Aamir Khan and Suriya are reportedly set to shoot for the sequel at the same time. Earlier, while speaking to Pinkvilla, Suriya confirmed that Ghajini 2 is in the works and said, "After a long time, Allu Aravind (producer) came up with that idea and asked if that would be possible. I said, definitely, sir, we can't surely think of it. Yes, the talk has started and things are in process. Ghajini 2 might happen."
