Dr Bhupen Hazarika was the legendary Assamese-Indian singer, composer and filmmaker and a recipient of several prestigious awards. Today Google celebrates his 96th birth anniversary with artistic doodle that showcases the late artiste playing the harmonium. The awards received by him include National Film Award for Best Music Direction, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke Award. He was posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan and the Bharat Ratna too.
