Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru directorial Yaariyan 2 released in cinema halls today (Oct 20). The highly anticipated film stars Divya Khosla Kumar, Yash Dasgupta, Pearl V Puri, Meezaan Jafri among others in key roles. Free Press Journal: "Except her voice, Divya improves a lot as a performer. She isn’t unbearable at all but still has a lot of scope. The boys— Meezan, Pearl and Yash are the heartbeat of the film. Meezan has potential. Debutant Pearl does complete justice. His innocence speaks volumes. Yash is raw, sincere and genuine. Warina Hussain and Priya Warrier unfortunately have very brief appearances."

Also there are many songs that look a little forceful in the movie which definitely pull your interest down. Actresses like Warina Hussain, Priya Prakash Varrier were wasted in the movie and they had very less to offer. Actor Pearl V Puri has given one of the best performances among the actors present in the movie but unfortunately he was missing in the major portion of the second half."
