Stree 2, the horror comedy film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, made a phenomenal opening at the box, collecting INR 76.5 crore. Despite strong competition from Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa, the Amar Kaushik directorial has displayed a once-sided domination during the Independence Day releases. On day 2, the movie grossed over INR 41 crore, taking the total collection to INR 118 crore as per the makers. With the Rakshabandhan weekend here, the movie is expected to do better business in the coming days.
