Renowned folk singer Sharda Sinha left for heavenly abode on Tuesday, November 5, after being on ventilator support for days. She battled myeloma, a rare type of blood cancer, since 2018. The legendary singer was undergoing treatment at Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Her condition was reported as critical. Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi remained in constant touch with the doctors at AIIMS, closely monitoring the Padma Bhushan recipient's health.
