Choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife, Lizelle, have landed in legal hot water in Maharashtra's Thane district. An FIR has been filed against the pair, alongside five others, for allegedly defrauding a dance troupe of INR 11.96 crore. This drama kicked off after a 26-year-old dancer complained to the Mira Road police on October 16. The case spans a period from 2018 to July 2024, with the dancer’s troupe having won a TV competition. But instead of basking in their victory, the dancers claim that the accused, posing as their representatives, wrongfully grabbed the prize money, leaving them in the dust. Alongside Remo and Lizelle, the complaint also ropes in Omprakash Shankar Chouhan, Rohit Jadhav, Frame Production, Vinod Raut, and Ramesh Gupta.
