The filming of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, has reportedly been halted due to a copyright infringement case. An insider told Mid-day that the "filming will only resume after a consensus is reached on the matter." However, sources from the production house have reassured fans that the movie hasn't been shelved. Reportedly, producer Mandhu Mantena, who departed the project, has filed a copyright infringement case as he has not received appropriate compensation and thus requested to stop the filming of RamayanaRamayana is expected to recommence within three or four weeks.
