According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate has summoned actor Ranbir Kapoor in the Mahadev online betting app case scam. The Bollywood actor has been asked to appear before the agency on October 6. The case deals with money laundering probe against the founders of the Mahadev betting app, Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal. The news has been posted by the news agency ANI on X (formerly known as Twitter). Why Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by the ED?

Enforcement Directorate's probe suggests that the Animal star was paid by promoters of the Mahadev app to endorse their gaming app. The payment made to Ranbir was illegal and a criminal offense. According to reports, the actor was among the highest-paid celebrities by the app.
