Prakash Jha Gets Support From Hansal Mehta, Filmmaker Condemns the Heinous Attack on Ashram 3's Set
It is not the first time that a film's crew has faced such attacks. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Jaigharh set for the shooting of 2018 film "Padmaavat" was vandalised by a fringe group. They had also assaulted the filmmaker, claiming the movie was distorting facts.
Bajrang Dal activists allegedly ransacked the set of Prakash Jha's next Ashram 3 and threw ink at him. Condemning the act and extending his support to Jha, filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to post a powerful message. He talked about how such a heinous incident has taken place before as well, and things have remained the same only because no one has raised a voice against it.
