Following the Gujarat High Court's lifting of a temporary stay order on Netflix's Maharaj on Friday, Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, has finally made his much-awaited Bollywood debut. As soon as the film premiered on the streaming platform, Junaid Khan's sister, Ira Khan, took to her social media to show her support for her brother's debut film. Taking to her Instagram handle on June 21, Ira Khan shared a poster of Maharaj and urged her fans and followers to watch her brother's debut movie. She wrote "Watch" and added popcorn stickers along with it. Originally scheduled for a June 14 release, the film was involved in legal troubles after a Hindu group filed a complaint against it, claiming that it would hurt their religious sentiments. However, the stay was lifted on June 21. Directed by Sidharth P Malhotra, Maharaj also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in leading roles.
