The Gujarat High Court has lifted its temporary ban on the release of the film Maharaj by Netflix, affirming that the movie is based on events from the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case and does not aim to offend any community. According to Liv Law, Justice Sangeeta K Vishen, who initially halted the film's release on June 13, permitted Netflix to stream it after personally reviewing the content. Originally slated for release on June 14, the film faced a delay due to concerns raised by businessmen fearing it could offend Vaishnavite religious sentiments. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, Junaid Khan's debut, produced by YRF Entertainment, stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Shalini Pandey in key roles.  Maharaj: Gujarat High Court Issues Stay Order to Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Khan’s Debut Film Till June 18 – Reports.
