SRK, who was supposed to play a cameo in the film, will now be portrayed as the lead protagonist alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan. Now, as per the recent media reports, the Sujoy Ghosh directorial will feature also feature Munjya actor Abhay Verma. According to a report by Pinkvilla, "Abhay Verma has got a lot of appreciation for his performance in Munjya and the same isreflecting in the kind of offers coming his way. He has bagged a key role in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. He is excited to venture into this tentpole feature film."
