The Delhi High Court has granted an interim injunction in favour of filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt, barring T-Series or any other agencies from using the titles 'Tu Hi Aashiqui' or 'Tu Hi Aashiqui Hai' or any other titles consisting of the word 'Aashiqui'. This means that the label cannot use the title with the word Aashiqui for their new project starring Kartik Aaryan, which would have been named Aashiqui 3. Justice Sanjeev Narula granted an interim injunction in favour of Vishesh Films, a company owned by his brother Mukesh Bhatt, in a trademark lawsuit filed against T-Series.
