In response to Johar's sentiments, Kettan Singh issued a sincere apology to the filmmaker. In an interview with Times Now, Singh expressed regret, stating, "I would like to apologise to Karan (Johar) sir." He acknowledged Johar's reaction to the promo and admitted to not having seen the full episode, expressing his desire to gauge the reactions of both the audience and Johar post-viewing.
