Karan Johar Celebrates ‘Brahmastra’ Triumph at 70th National Film Awards on Dharma Productions’ 44th Anniversary, Pens Heartfelt Note of Gratitude
Karan Johar tok to his social media handle and penned a note of gratitude after his film 'Brahmastra' was honoured at the 70th National Film Awards in New Delhi today (October 8).
The 70th National Film Awards took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today (October 8). Led by President Droupadi Murmu, some of the biggest actors, filmmakers and movies were honoured at the prestigious ceremony. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra won in the Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects Gaming and Comic) and Best VFX Film categories. The movie's director, Ayan Mukerji, and producer, Karan Johar, accepted the awards. After receiving the honour, the Dharma Productions boss took to his Instagram handle and expressed gratitude for the recognition. He wrote, " thank you to the audience for the bountiful love that you shower. This is the third time for me on stage, and the magnanimity of it all is not lost on me. And what a day to celebrate - since today also marks 44 years of @dharmamovies!"
