Taking to his Instagram handle on Wednesday (August 7), the Vedaa actor shared a picture with Manu, both holding her medals as they posed for the camera. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "Had the pleasure of meeting @bhakermanu and her lovely family. She has made India proud!!! Respect." However, fans weren't happy with the picture as they criticised John for holding one of Manu's medals. One of the users wrote, "Where were you in her training days? Never it bothered you to support a budding athlete?". Another commented, "You should not touch the medal."
