Jim Sarbh recently shared a post addressing the speculation surrounding his comments about co-actor Ranveer Singh. In his post, Jim clarified that he looks up to Ranveer, with whom he shared the screen in Padmaavat. He also explained that his comments were aimed at actors who exaggerate the acting process, not at Ranveer. Sarbh tagged Ranveer Singh in the post and elaborated, “I usually don’t respond to speculative videos and articles, because they’re boring and I assume people know better. Of course, just like some of you, I assumed wrong. Too many people have forwarded me things, and now journalists/interviewers are ‘identifying’ me as a ‘critic’, despite me never having mentioned anyone at all, let alone.” Sarbh’s statement comes after Nawazuddin Siddiqui supported Ranveer’s acting, where Siddiqui questioned, “The people who are calling it fake, did they bother to understand the actor’s process?”. Sarbh’s post reflects his frustration with the misinterpretation of his stance and the resulting media narrative. Ranveer Singh Drops Hilarious Photoshop Pic of Himself With Oprah Winfrey and Rohan Shrestha, Calls It ‘Lovely Memory’.
