The veteran actress began her political career in 1999 and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2004. After she won the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from Mathura constituency for the third consecutive term her daughter Esha Deol took to her social media to congratulate her.
The results for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 were announced on Tuesday, June 4, and Hema Malini emerged victorious again. The veteran actress won UP's Mathura constituency for the third consecutive time and won by a huge margin of over 2 lakh votes. Her closest rival was INC's Mukesh Dhangar. Her daughter Esha Deol took to her Instagram handle to celebrate her mother's win. Sharing a picture of the actress, Esha wrote, "Congratulations, mamma. Hat trick."
