An old video has resurfaced online, showcasing the legendary Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan on the sets of Indian Idol 10. In the clip, he delves into discussions about the political scene in the country. In the special episode of the popular singing show, the renowned Punjabi folk singer recited a poem that poignantly highlighted how the nation is divided by religion, caste and other factors while its citizens remain oblivious to reality. He said "Duniya jaat, paat, rang ke bhed bhaav mai padi hui hai, magar hakikat koi nahi dekhta. Allah walo, Ram walo, apne mazhab ko siasat see bacha lo, Mandir Masjid kabhi fursat mai bana lena, jo nafrat se tute hai wo ghar to bana lo. Apne ghar ki chat ko bacha ke rakhna, apne padosi ke diwaar girane walon. Aur ek hi rehne do shahido ke jhanda, Tiranga, roz naye jhande mai danda fasane walon." Gurdas Maan Extends Congratulations to Sidhu Moose Wala’s Parents on Baby Boy’s Birth (Watch Video).
