Google Doodle has honoured legendary Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK on October 25 celebrating his iconic debut in Bollywood with Gulzar's 1996 film, 'Maachis'.
Krishnakumar Kunnath, aka KK, was one of the most loved singers in Bollywood. Having delivered major hit tracks in the 2000s, KK left an indelible mark in the hearts of music lovers through his soulful voice and charming personality. KK got his first big break as a singer with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam with the track "Tadap Tadap Ke Id Dil Se". He later went on to deliver several hits, including "Labon Ko", "Zara Sa", "Khuda Jaane", "Yaaron", and "Beete Lamhein", to name a few. On Friday (October 25), search engine giant Google created a special doodle for the iconic singer on the occasion of his singing debut with Gulzar's 1996 film Maachis. KK sang the track "Chhod Aaye Hum" from the film along with Hariharan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Suresh Wadkar and Vinod Sehgal.
