A Swiss couple died in the car crash that took place as well. Markus and his wife burned to death after the Ferrari caught on fire. There was also a couple in the camper van that overturned in the crash, but they made it out alive with injuries.
Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi were on the Sardinia Supercar Tour during their vacation in Italy when they happened to become a part of an unfortunate car accident. The crash left an old Swiss couple dead after their Lamborghini and the couple's Ferrari tried to overtake a large camper van simultaneously. Gayatri commented about the crash saying "Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here.. With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine". A video of the crash surfaced online which showed the terrifying crash take place, and the van flipping over completely as well.
