As per Bollywood Hungama, Kangana Ranaut's Emergency has been postponed. Initially scheduled for September 6, the film’s release is now delayed. This development follows legal challenges, including a case filed by Mohali residents Gurinder Singh and Jagmohan Singh, who have demanded the revocation of the film’s censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). They have also requested that the film be reviewed by prominent Sikh figures before its release. Reportedly, while the CBFC has suggested edits, the certification remains under review. Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Pal Jain stated that certification will proceed according to regulations and that grievances can be directed to the board. ‘Emergency’: Kangana Ranaut Reveals Her Film Is Yet To Receive a Certification by CBFC; BJP MP Feels ‘Sorry’ for the State of Things in India (Watch Video).
